Ladies are required to wear a plain black collarless top or blouse with 3/4 length sleeves. Sainsbury's sells a suitable straight-collar top at a very reasonable price.   

     A silver scarf adorns the collar - available only directly from the Choir at the reduced price of £5.00 - please ask at rehearsal.

     A long black skirt (not floor length - between calf and ankle)

     Summer concert: 15 denier black tights or knee-highs (as long as the tops don't show when you sit down!).  Winter concert: 20 denier black tights or knee-highs.

     Black footwear.  

Notes: When you dress, please do not put on your scarf.  Sandra will provide both safety pins and those finishing touches to the scarf to ensure that uniformity exists.  This will enable everyone to be ready for a “line-up” before the concert for the Musical Director’s final inspection!  Please note that white slips show when you sit down!

Black long-sleeved shirt

     Silver/Black diamond tie - available only through the Choir at the reduced price of £6.50 - please ask at rehearsal.   

     Black trousers.

     Black shoes and socks.  

Notes: please ensure you have a Windsor knot in your tie and that they are all tied to similar bodily lengths.  Please be ready for the "line-up" before the concert for the MD's final inspection.
