Concentus Chorale is one of the latest singing groups to be formed within the town and held its inaugural rehearsal on 5 September 2005 when 45 people turned up in wanting to try something new! As in the cliché, ‘An army marches on its stomach’, Concentus Chorale recognise that ‘the success of our performances comes from our members’ and to this end we are always keen to encourage anyone to join us (see Join Us) providing they have the enthusiasm to sing well and derive pleasure from doing it!
When forming the choir we knew that we needed to offer something different; and we believe that we have done just that!
